Sunday's rush of happy couples become monday's steady statewide procession

For the first time in the state of New York, clerk's offices began offering marriage licenses to lesbian and gay couples on Monday. People must be really happy, now those couples can finally be a whole and actually be true families. Many couples were waiting for this moment for a while now. As the article states, at least 1,200 licenses had been issued so far. Gay festivities have went from Sunday into Monday. The state of New York is huge, but I was still surprised when I read the part of article that stated that it "is home to about 65,300 same sex couples. There is now a clear majority of Americans that now support full marriage equality for their fellow Americans who are LGBT. New York is, in fact, the sixth and largest state where same-sex marriage licenses are allowed.


New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms, a group that filed the lawsuit on Monday, claimed that the Senate violated the state's open meetings law in the run up to its vote on the marriage bill. The executive director of the group, Rev. Jason J. McGuire believes that "Constitutional liberties were violated." Since the Constitution has been created back in the day, many things have changed in American history. Not everything is going to stay the same forever. If every person in this country is equal to one another, then they deserve to have the same rights as one another. Even if they are heterosexual or homosexual. Some people believe that same sex marriage licenses are against their morals and religions. People still have the idea that a marriage is between a man and a woman. They would have been angered when they heard that the start of same-sex marriage in New York doubled automatically the number of Americans who live in states in which lesbian and gay couples can obtain marriage licenses. I believe it is time for people to start realizing that same sex couples want to be together forever. This is not a joke for them and they are not getting married just for fun. Once getting married, that is a precious thing in someone's life because you are creating this commitment with the person you love the most. Niagara falls is a gorgeus and peaceful place to get married in. On Monday, forty-six same-sex couples got married in a group ceremony . I do agree with the article when it stated that "local tourism officials said was mean to kick off a campaign to make the city a wedding and honeymoon destination for gay couples. Niagara falls has always been a special place for anyone to get married in and now it is a great place for same-sex couples to get married in as well.
