It Hit Mothers the Most

I read the article, " Why Caylee's Death is Personal," by Lisa Belkin. This article explains why the Casey Anthony trail is getting so much attention. This is the main attraction for mostly mothers all over the world. They are touched by this proven not guilty sentence, and not in a good way. Just like the author says the women are more concerned about this case because they are horrified that this could really happen. Mothers all over the world have children from all ages, and some even the age Caylee was when she was found dead. In the article it also showed a video and throughtout the seven minutes many women were hugging their children, and crying because they are terrified that the jurors have let the "murderer" free. In my opinion i totally agree with what this author was saying throughout this article. The women, like myself feel a lost, when you look into that little girls face, its something that always says how could you hurt a girl like this. The author gives us challenges throughout the article, bringing up many possible ways that could have avoided this action. It seems many people are making their own verdict, and blaming everyone in this situation. Everyone has their own opinions to what should of happened, but now we have to face the fact that Casey Anthony is free. Only the person who did this act knows exactly what happened, and has to face themselves at the end of the night. But as for women out there i feel this just has triggered a motherly instinct, it has highered there fears that everyone has of one day letting their child out into the world. This fear has always been their, in my opinion, everyone feels that way about their children. So as far as those mothers that this case has touched, this probably has made an impact on them. Or has it? Do you feel the verdict for Casey Anthony was the right decision? How do you feel about this case ? Do you think that this will change mothers all over the world and the decisions that have an impact on their child? Please respond back i would like to know your opinions.

I also agree with your article. I feel like the jurors made a terrible decision. Based on the information that you give from the article, Casey Anthony got away with a murder of her own flesh and blood...her seed. I don't see how a woman has the courage and mind set to kill their own child. I feel like Casey Anthony should do some MAJOR time for her actions!

Many mothers are affected because what if someone does this to their own child and does not get punished. It’s a lot worse when it’s someone’s own child. Mothers have a connection with their children so for mothers this act was insane. Killing your own child for any reason is inexcusable. Caylee didn’t even have a chance to live her life. Casey Anthoney gave away a wonderful gift. Casey Anthony should have went to jail she doesn’t deserve to live her life when her daughter didn’t even get to live hers. I have many nieces and nephews and can’t imagine that someone might hurt them when they are innocent. Just one look and one smile is enough. The jurors were wrong how could they have found her not guilty. They found decomposition evidence in the trunk of her car. This is crazy and Caylee needs justice. Her mother knew that she was dead and didn’t say anything for almost a month. To me she is just heartless and shouldn’t be free for deciding when a child’s life should end.

I feel like Casey is not guilty of committing this crime that everybody said she did. Because their was no clear evidence that she did do it, or else she would of have been found guilty. But she wasn't and yes it is a sad thing what happened to caylee was horrendous and unjust and I do feel like justice for caylee was not served but Casey didn't do it so we should be focusing on what actually happened to caylee and not why didn't Casey get punished for a crime she didn't do.

i understand that we shouldnt be focusing on the fact that Casey didn't get punished i totally agree with you on that. I also understand your reasoning and respect your opinion but the only reason Casey wasn't convicted is not because she wasn't guilty but there wasn't enough evidence to convict her. People have a lot of differents feelings towards this situation, and in other reasons i feel that everyone who is attached to this case wants justice for this little girl. Therefore they focus on who did it.
