BBCOR Bats ruining the game?

To all you baseball fans who watch one of America's Greatest sports, do you believe the game is becoming less exciting on the college level? According to this article averages are taking a dip, because of the new choice of the N.C.A.A. They now want the aluminum bats to act like wooden bats. This reduces the power the aluminum bats have on a baseball, now it truly matters if you hit the ball with the "sweet spot" on a bat. Recently the college world series took place, with an average of .231 down from last years .289. That's a .058 difference and a huge difference at that. This translate into less runs, meaning less action on the diamond.
I am a little disappointed but this step taken is a step closer to an actual MLB (Major League Baseball) game. Keep in mind that that the just switched over this year so I'm positive that another year will go by with averages climbing not dropping. It's like riding a bike it takes time to get the feeling of balance down but once you get it you become very comfortable doing it. This goes the same for these BBCOR bats, they'll practice and get used to them in time. I look forward for next years college World Series with the batting averages a little higher.
