After Long Wait, Same-Sex Couples Marry in New York

Throughout the years same sex couples have been observing that surrounding states have made same sex couple marriages legal while they have been through rejection in NY. Same sex marriage seems to be someting that would never happen to them. Same sex marriage is something that people could not accept. People who wanted to get married had to go through many people judging them. They fell in love with a person who was the same sex so they suffered many critics from others.

The church seems to have a big issue with same sex marriage because it is believe that God meant for only a man and woman to be together. Not a woman and woman or man and man. This might be a big facter in why so many people judge and say that same sex marriages should not happen. THey seem to worry more about relgion then peoples happieness.

MAny think that if they let people who are the same sex its against gods wishes. But what they really dont see is that they are actually preventing them from being happy. Imagen being without your loved ones? This is what everyone is causing them to go through. Being stared at and laughed at.

Thats not the only things that we are doing. We make them feel as if they are wierd and that who they like isnt right. Making them feel as if they shouldnt even confide in family their darkest secret. Which is that they like a person who is the same sex. This is something that we can not reject any longer. Its becoming something normal and they should have the same rights as we do.

I think they feel that they dont belong among the society. People around them treat them differently when in reality they are just like you and me. Rejection might be the reason why same sex couples feel abnormal. Society is making them feel as though they do not belong.
