I need to reiterate....

..that we should not only be discussing the WHAT of each article but the HOW. Originally I wrote ".... Detail the ways in which your ideas were challenged, and then discuss how the writer accomplished this. What choices did s/he make (appropriate to audience and purpose) in order to persuade or challenge you?...."

So please remember to discuss how the writer is using all possible means of persuasion specific to the audience and the purpose of each article.
