At Least 6 Dead in Russian Plane Crash

Before reading this article I had already been aware that undeveloped countries, such as India or Mexico don't have the greatest technology and tools are developed countries, simply because there isn't enough money. But after reading this, it was obvious that there is a great change needed to be made as far as having safer technology for them. In this article, I read about a tragic plane crash in Russia. Heading toward the Siberian city of Surgut, the plane caught fire and landed in a Siberian river. It was said to be due to a mechanical failure in the left engine. Similar to this, a Russian plane had crashed about a month ago and killed 44 passenger. And after this recent crash, questions were raised about Russian transportation and the safety of it. The plane involved in both crashes, Antonov-24, was first built in the 1960s and used ever since. With that being said, I think there should be more advanced transportation in such countries. For one, it is about time everyone has an upgrade considering the fact that we have the tools to do so. But most importantly, it is essential that everyone is safe when trying to travel. Whether it's a plane, or a bus. In my opinion, as long as we continue to keep the old, unsafe vehicles around, nothing will be changed and these tragic events will continue to be inevitable.
Understood that such countries cant contribute to such changes because of unfortunate circumstances, there are many other ways to do so. Such as asking others for help in making it happen, or even just working toward it together as a country themselves. I believe the writer wants me to understand how unfortunate some are, and what can happen due to the lack of advancement.

I definately agree with you ash, it is about time that tecnology shold be upgraded in underdeveloped countries. It is very unfortunate that lives had to be lost because inadvances transportation. It is expecially important that sources of transportation are up to part and isnt an endangerment to the people in those countries. If everyone was to lend a helping hand or complaints were made to manufactures, a change can definately be made. The author of the article would have most likely wanted us to com to this realization.
