North Korean Famine

The North Korean famine makes me sad. People always think that poverty is just in America, however there are many other places that are suffering as well. Natural resources are becoming scarce and limited. People can't afford food, clothes, education....anything really! The author of this article uses others opinion on the topic to show the seriousness and the worry that is spreading nationwide. Reading the interviews of some of the korean people showed me that they have a daily concerned about how they are going to provide for their families and still give children a great life without showing them that they are suffering. This article makes me appreciate every little thing that i have. From my clothes, to the twinkies in the closet, because there are people in the world that are less fortunate than me and don't even have the option of a varitety of snacks to eat whenever they feel like.
