Cyber Bullying is an abuse most teenagers go through nowadays.
A Texas teen tweeted 144 times in six hours about being molested by a family member and being forced into prostitution. Then 18-year-old Ashley Billasano killed herself—after announcing to some 500 Twitter followers she was going to do just that.Finally, she announced plans for her suicide."I'd love to hear what you have to say, but I won't be around," she added. Her last tweet: "I hope I get this right." Billasano suffocated herself, using a technique she found on the Internet, said a police spokesman.
here is this girl who has a bright future in front of her but just do not have the right person in her life to guide her. after when i saw this and i thought where was her parents when she was going through such a difficult time? did she even have a real conversation with her parents? i know teenagers hide stuff from their parents but a real parent is suppose to know if their child is happy or not no matter what? it is obvious that she needed attention, unfortunately it was too late!!

Cyberbullying is so unfortuate and horrible to those who are affected by it. People need to get a life and stop trying to build up thier self esteem by putting other people down. people also need to start focusing on thier own lives rather than ruining the lives of other. Misery loves company. Its not worth someone trying to take thier own life and I can only imagine how Ashley Billasano family is taking thier lose. This should be concidered a crime.
The wanting to kill yourself is unexplainably awful--words cannot really describe how tough it is. But, this article points out the obvious, which makes me wonder: Is this the only way we can communicate with everyone about depression and such? What other ways can we appeal, especially to parents about adolescents and bullying?
